WATCHMEN

What is a watchman? Why did Yahweh call out the watchmen? Who are they? Lets see if we can understand this.

The word watchmen is notzrim and the root is natzar. It means to "safe keep". Jeremiah 31 For there comes a day that the watchers call out upon the mountains of Ephraim. Arise and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God. For thus hath said the Lord, Sing for Jacob with joy and shout at the head of the nations publish e praise ye and say The Lord has helped His people the remnant of Israel.

Christians are called notzrim in Hebrew. It comes from the word Nazareth. The nonjews who have the spirit of our LORD - Adonai. Some people know they are of Israel. Other believers that dont understand yet but are of Israel are Notzrim. The shoots that have not come out yet. In Isaiah 49:6 says "It is insufficient that you be a servant to me only, to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel! But I will also appoint you for a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach as far as the end of the earth.

The word "preserved" is the hebrew root notzri. The ones that are safe kept for the future time. The word "preserved" (of Israel) in english. In other places it is "watchmen".

In 1Kings 11 the story of the two kingdoms split. There were 10 tribes that went with Jeroboam. Rehoboam had the kingdom of Judah. Jeroboam established his own kingdom and worshipped pagan gods. They worshipped in a pagan temple and completely got away from GOD.

In the end times when Yeshua comes back he will unite all the tribes of Israel and will no longer be two separate kingdoms. Ezk. 37 HE is talking about the WHOLE house of Isael. This includes Judah todays Jews. Jeremiah 31 talks about the love God for the house of Ephraim, which is the outcast and not a part of Judah. Jeremiah 31 talks about Yahweh's love for Ephraim, (Jacob) His dear son. Rachel is weeping for her children. She cant be comforted. God tells them to set up waymarks for yourself, make yourself guideposts consider well the highway the road by which you went. Yahweh says Behold the days are coming when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

Romans 13:11 Besides this you know what hour it is, how it is full time now for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

Here is my story how I started Shofars around the World. The Father impressed the sounding of the shofar on my heart in Feb.2001. One Erev Shabbat which is Friday evening, my son Andrew and I were welcoming in the Sabbath with the sounding of the shofar. As we were blowing our shofars we heard our neighbor and friend blowing his shofar. After we stopped and were ready to return indoors, we heard a third shofar blowing way off in the distance. We do not know any other neighbors with a shofar so this was very different. My son and I both heard this and were very excited.

After thinking about the distance that a shofar could be heard it was impressed upon me to start " Shofars Across America". So we set the date which at that time was Sept.17/01 at 7:00 pm Pacific time. I was unsure if this was my idea or the Father's. I prayed about this a lot. Then one day the scripture in Ezekiel 33:3 came to mind. "You shall sound the alarm when you see the sword come upon the land" I thought this was a good thing to do. But I had no idea that time what the sword was for sure.

So My wife and I asked our friends and fellow believers where would be a good place to blow the Shofar? We decided on the top of the tallest building in our town. Which is 6 or 7 stories high. So I went to talk to the people who were operating the pet store on the bottom floor. I talked about all that had transpired with the watchman on the wall and so on. This lady was very excited and told me to talk to the floor manager. So again I told my story, and again I was told I had to talk to the owner. At this time I was saying a short prayer asking the Father, if this was from Him or was it my idea? So I also explained this to the owner she also was very excited, and said "It's fine with me if it's ok with the man who takes care of the maintenance on the building".

She went to her desk and gave me this person's business card and said that I should call him. Well I took one look at the card and almost fell over. The name of his business was,"WATCHMAN REAL ESTATE". Wow did I have my answer or what. We got the ok from all with their blessings. We still did not know why we were warning about the sword. Well as you know the tragedy on 9/11/01 the towers fell. Seven days later the Day of Blowing which is a biblical high day called Yom Teruah. Also traditionally as Rosh Hashanah.

When we sounded the Shofar we found out that we were also joined by other Countries. Canada, Australia, Africa, and Israel. That is when we decided to do "SHOFARS AROUND THE WORLD". I am so thankful that we have all been given this opportunity to unite. It could be that there may not have been a blast of the Shofar to this magnitude sense the commandments was given on the Mountain. I was also impressed when I understood that the silver trumpets of Num.10:2 were commanded to be blown to assemble the people. You can't warn them if they are not assembled.

I hope you understand this calling. We all need to stand in unity as the watchman on the wall. Warning the whole house of Israel of the impending danger of the sword! The judgement of YHVH coming to humanity. Repent for the time is near when Yeshua comes and reigns forever with us. Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things That the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
